My name is Ali Haeri, I'm a certified ACMG ski guide and I'm very fortunate to call Revelstoke, BC my home. I specialize in guiding backcountry ski/snowboard touring trips around Revelstoke, Rogers Pass, Golden and Lake Louise. Revelstoke is the powder capital of Canada, year after year it has amazing snowfall amounts, the temperatures stay nice and cool, it's bordered by two huge mountain ranges (the Selkirks and the Monashees) with expansive glaciers and incredible tree skiing, all within proximity of a road to begin walking.

I guide day trips, multi-day hut trips to the many backcountry huts throughout British Columbia and trips to international locations like Japan. I also teach courses. Avalanche skills training courses level 1 and 2 (AST's) certified by Avalanche Canada, managing avalanche terrain courses, crevasse rescue courses or courses specializing in learning the science of snow. I love sharing the knowledge and experience I've gained over the last 20 years with anyone who is eager to learn.

I believe a major reason people love spending time in the mountains is to share it with others who are just as excited and it's important for me to share that joy with you. I believe hiring a guide goes beyond just pointing clients in the right direction, I'm someone who believes in the importance of developing meaningful connections with the people I meet and who genuinely cares about you and the experience you will have.

Will I take you to the best ski runs suitable for the conditions and your experience level while keeping your safety paramount? Yes, of course! Will I show you tips and tricks to help you out when you need it? You bet! Can I teach you about the winter backcountry, avalanches terrain, snowpack and mountain travel while we log thousands of vertical feet? Absolutely!
